#BEDN Day 3: Lists

I bloody love a good list. I’m always writing them and there’s nothing more satisfying then crossing items off them. I especially love making wish lists. It’s something I’ve done on this blog since the beginning and it’s the perfect way to do a bit of window shopping. I only end up buying about 5% of the things on my list so I just use them to get ideas.

So today for BEDN, I’m going to make a wishlist of random things I think are cute. Just because.

Christmas Decoration, £16 – Anthropologie

47526785_045_b

I did it, I mentioned the C word. Not too bad considering I actually heard shops playing Christmas music already. I don’t mind seeing merchandise because I can ignore it, but music is too much. Wait a month people. So when I was in London last week I went into Anthropologie to stare at pretty things I can’t afford and this beauty caught my eye. So damn pretty!

Snack Boxes, £8 – Paperchase

I love this whole range but could actually find a good use for these snack boxes. What a great way to bring healthier snacks into work. Plus they are super cute.

Bag, £17 – The Disney Store

Screen Shot 2018-11-03 at 19.22.25

It’s a butterfly from Alice in Wonderland. I love how random and weird and cool this bag is.

Earrings, £15 – Accessorize

Screen Shot 2018-11-03 at 19.30.43

I recently lost one of my earrings that I have been living in for the past few months so am on the hunt for some replacements. These are lovely and simple.

Jumper, £12.99 – New Look

It’s definitely jumper weather right now so any excuse to put on more layers is fine in my eyes. I love this colour block one – it would be great to wear on a day out with my jeggings and ankle boots.

So there you go. A list of five things i think are cool. I always find it interesting reading other people’s wish lists. As well as watching haul videos on Youtube. It’s just like window shopping. So much cheaper than real shopping!

All items are affiliate links which means if you buy then I get a small commission with no extra cost to you. Win, win.

Snitch Light, £24.99 – Truffle Shuffle

Top picks - snitch light

This would look great in our guest bedroom on one of the bedside tables. The bedside tables that we are yet to purchase but still. Forward planning is useful. This is definitely our nerdiest room of the house!

Necklace, £18 – ASOS

Top picks - necklace

Still into my celestial jewellery and still into the minimalist look. It’s funny how our tastes change over time, isn’t it?

T-shirt, £22 – Joanie

Top picks - audrey t-shirt

I loved this series of shirts as soon as I saw them but Audrey had to be the number 1 for me. My favourite film of hers is Roman Holiday.

Dress, £38 – Joanie

top picks - dress

As soon as I saw this dress on Joanie’s instagram account, I knew it would be on my wishlist. Whether I end up getting it or not, we’ll see.

Blouse, £39 – Sugarhill Brighton

top picks - blouse

This reminds me so much of a top Zara did a few years back. I tried to get it but the arms were stupidly small. This blouse is even cuter so I might just be persuaded to give it a try. Fingers crossed the arms fit. Any one else have this problem or is it just me and my bingo wings?

Washi Tape, £2.50 – Ohh Deer

Top picks - washi tape

My love for washi tape is still going strong though I’m not using it much these days. Maybe I should get back into bullet journalling. I love the pattern of this one.

Leather Waterfall Jacket, £35 – Dorothy Perkins

top picks - leather jacket

I saw this on the mannequin at Dorothy Perkins and instantly fell in love. It looked so elegant and effortless to wear. What an easy way to dress up an outfit. Want so much.

Tights, £8 – ASOS

top picks - tights

I’m not usually a fan of leopard print but these easily made it onto my list. I think it must be the simplicity of them since I’m not a fan of the usual colourful print. They look like they’d add some interest to an otherwise plain outfit.

Dress, £75 – Emily & Fin

top picks - dress

I love the imagery of the circus (just don’t try to take me to one in real life). The print of this dress is so fun and colourful but not so bright that  you couldn’t wear it all year round. Now if only the price tag wasn’t so high.

Duvet Set, £14 – George

top picks - duvet set

Our bedding is starting to look a little worse for wear so I’ve started looking around for replacements. George is still killing it with their bedding so this constellation print is top of my list. And such a reasonable price too!

Top Picks #56

Here’s what I’ve had my eye on recently. It’s weird to think that I can actually afford a few of these things now. What a novelty!

Jumper, £65 – Cath Kidston*

Top Picks #56 - jumper

This jumper is so twee but I love it so much. It would go with everything. Perfect for both work and just hanging out.

Pinafore, £30 – Monki @ ASOS*

Top Picks #56 - pinafore

It’s a pinafore. It’s polka dot print. How could I not want this? I’d wear it with brightly coloured t-shirts.

Headphones, £25 – Urban Outfitters*

Top Picks #56 - headphones

I desperately need some wireless headphones for the gym. These are both stylish and functional. Plus they’re in the sale – score!

Cushion, £35 – Bombay Duck

Top Picks #56 - cushion

We definitely have enough cushions right now but how cute is this one? I love things that say hello.

Necklace, £37.14 – Wanderlust + Co

Top Picks #56 - necklace

This necklace is just so pretty. Shame it’s currently sold out. Though it looks like it might get restocked at some point so fingers crossed. It is still available in silver however.

Dress, £118 – Anthropologie*

Top Picks #56 - dress

I’m living for this dress. The detailing is perfect – I love the shape, the print, the button down front and the two-tiered skirt. Shame about the price though!

Poster, £25.08 – Posters Garage @ Etsy*

Top Picks #56 - poster

Topher and I are starting to consider what posters to buy and frame for our living room gallery wall. We’ve both agreed, Disnerds that we are, we want a Disney park map poster. This one is gorgeous – the close up detail is so pretty.

Lunch Bag, £11 – ASOS*

Top Picks #56 - lunch bag

So at the moment, I bring my lunch in a plastic bag. Classy, no? I think this would be a reasonable replacement. It doesn’t even look like a lunch bag which I love.

Top, £19.99 – New Look*

Top Picks #56 - top

I’m really feeling the colour yellow at the moment. How pretty is this top? It would be perfect for work.

Bag, £340 – Kate Spade*

Top Picks #56 - bag

I was so sad to hear about the death of Kate Spade recently. I always loved her style and always aspired to own some of her pieces. So far I’ve only managed a watch and her book. I need a black bag for work. This bag is expensive. But it sure is pretty. Maybe if I went to an outlet I’d have a chance at finding something similar at a cheaper price?

Here’s what’s on my lust list this month.

Backpack, $79.90 – Boxlunch

top picks #55 - backpack

I seriously need this backpack in my life. I’m loving the whole Harry Potter collection from Danielle Nicole but this one is by far my favourite. As soon I saw it on Instagram I was hooked.

Shirt, £45 – Cath Kidston

top picks #55 - shirt

I want this print on everything I own. In fact, Cath Kidston do have this print on quite a few things in store at the moment. Walking round their store yesterday I wanted them all. This shirt may have to be on my birthday list though. I just wish they had a short sleeve version too.

Dress, £38 – Joanie

top picks #55 - dress

This dress is super cute and versatile. It makes me want to go on a picnic.

Dress, $108 – Shop Disney

top picks #55 - small world dress

This dress is everything! Fans of It’s a Small World might recognise the print. I actually tried on a dress with this same fabric in Disneyland on my honeymoon but it just didn’t suit me. This silhouette however is definitely more my style. The price tag is the only downer. Birthday present perhaps?

Earrings, £32 – Laura Jane Cullen @ Etsy

top picks #55 - earrings

I’ve grown tired of earrings recently but I do want to wear something. Preferably gold ones that I can wear in the shower and not have to bother putting in and out all the time. These triangle ones fit the bill.

Dress, £22.99 – New Look

top picks #55 - sundress

This dress is just perfect for summer. If the sun makes an appearance that is!

Socks, $9 – Modcloth

top picks #55 - socks

Who says socks have to be boring?

Highlighter, £7 – Paperchase

top picks #55 - highlighter
I’m always a fan of novelty stationery and this highlighter is bonkers!

Metal Drink Bottle, £20 – Typo

top picks #55 - water bottle

I’ve been on the hunt for a metal water bottle for a while and this one is perfect.

Vest, $28.90 – Boxlunch

top picks #55 - vest

This vest is so cute! I loved the Aristocats when I was a kid.

So I’m trying something new for my top picks. Instead of putting them all in one graphic, I thought you’d like to get up close and personal with each item. I actually prefer that when I’m reading other people’s wish list posts so I thought I’d see if you guys liked it too. Let me know what you think!

Mug, £5.99 – New Look

top picks - llama mug

I love this mug so much! Everything about it is so cute. And you can’t argue with that price…though my already stuffed mug cupboard might.

Necklace, $29 – Modcloth

top picks - necklace

How gorgeous is this necklace? It just screams spring to me. Now if only it could tell the weather outside!

Earrings, £15 – Loubijoux @ Etsy

top picks - earrings

I love the shape of these earrings. They’re so simple but very chic. I could wear them all day, everyday. This Etsy shop also has a load of other beautiful items that you can browse at your own risk. Definitely a payday destination.

Bag, £25 – Accessorize top picks - heart bag

I love a good novelty bag and this one is just quirky enough without going overboard. The heart shape is sweet and I love the stud detail. Perfect for adding a bit of fun to your outfit.

Instax Camera, £85 – Urban Outfitters

top picks - hello kitty camera

So this camera is on my list purely for the kawaii factor. How amazing is this? I’ve never had an Instax camera but I’ve always wanted one and this one is just too cute.

Cushion Cover, £1.90 – ROMWE

top picks - cushion cover

This cushion cover is beautiful. I think it would look great on our grey sofa. Plus you can’t beat that price!

T-shirt, $29 – Modcloth

top picks - t-shirt

I’ve been craving a lot of ramen recently. Does it show?

Bag, £22.87 – Milicancrelat @ Etsy

top picks - bag

So this bag might just remind me of Luna a little bit…

Shirt, £17.99 – H&M

top picks - shirt

It’s Mickey! And stripes! Double win.

Dress, £54 – Sugarhill Boutique

top picks - dress

This print is adorable – Enough said.
